With fall colors blazing, the University of Minnesota-Duluth invited area high schoolers and their families up for a colorful campus visit.
“Campus Preview” is an open-house event with booths from all university departments and programs.
Prospective students had the opportunity to engage with future professors, current students, and get a sample of campus amenities.
The event is held every year during MEA weekend, so those touring can come at a time when the campus is vibrant.
“This is the time of year that counselors and teachers and high schools are encouraging students to get out and visit colleges,” said Ian Pannkuk, Director of Marketing for the UMD Dept. of Admission. “It’s fall. It’s beautiful. It’s a good time to come up north.”
UMD will add at least 2,000 college freshmen next year.
This event will continue on Friday from 9:00am – 4:00pm.
