The Hibbing Bluejacket football team has teamed up with Advocates for Family Peace to create a lip sync video aimed at raising awareness of domestic violence.
The Bluejackets aren’t the only team getting in the groove.
The Hibbing soccer team and Greenway-Nashwauk-Keewatin football teams have also made videos with the group.
Hibbing players and coaches say they saw the video as an opportunity to make a difference in the community and show that despite some recent issues in the NFL not all football players are violent off the field.
In the video, players and coaches dance and lip sync to pop songs such as “Just The Way You Are” and “All About That Bass.”
The complete videos will debut at the 2nd Annual Iron Range Lip Sync Battle, Thursday, October 29 at Hibbing Community College.
