Minnesota opera is coming to Duluth.

The 160 person crew is bringing Mozart’s The Magic Flute to the DECC Symphony Hall.

The magic flute can only be seen in three American cities, one being Duluth.

After receiving a grant from the state arts board Duluth was the perfect choice for the opera according to the artistic director – Dale Johnson.

“It’s a fairy tale, it’s a fantasy opera and this production is very fantastical. In fact it’s a very different kind of production,” said Johnson

This performance will most definitely be different, with it being half animated.

The only performance is a matinee on Halloween.
