Cloquet High School and Duluth East High School Host Food Drive

The Two Schools Compete to See Who Raises More Food

Cloquet High school and Duluth East High school are having a friendly competition in the form of a food drive.

The high schools will be collecting food to donate to the Salvation Army for families in need, and see which school can collect more.

The schools are inviting community members to take part in the charity drive.

“There’s a hockey game on Thursday Cloquet VS East, and if you bring a can or dried good, you get a dollar off your ticket,” said Hazel Erickson, the President Student Council at Cloquet High School.

Cloquet High School is also having a competition within the school, where the homeroom that donates the most food gets a pizza party.
