Lake Superior Watershed Symposium

Environmental experts descended on UMD Wednesday to discuss the future of the Lake Superior Watershed.

Climate change and human consumption of resources are constantly changing the watershed and its various features, according to the experts.

These changes include things like water temperature, which can have drastic effects on aquatic life.

With that in mind, the Minnesota Lake Superior Watershed Stream Science Symposium is designed to bring the top minds together to exchange ideas and work toward a better future for the watershed.

The symposium is a two-day event, and concludes Thursday.
