Thousands Pack DECC For Bernie Sanders Rally

U.S. Senator From Vermont Is Dem. Pres. Candidate

Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders came to Duluth Tuesday to hold a rally, and the place was packed with supporters who wanted to hear him speak.

With the Minnesota Caucuses a little over a month away, many Northlanders were excited to have Senator Sanders in town.

Bernie Sanders is known as the progressive independent senator from Vermont.

His call for raising the minimum wage, and making college more affordable,  are among some of the reasons that he is attractive to many young voters, and they turned out to show their support, some even carrying signs.

Bernie Sanders is running against Secretary Hillary Clinton, and Governor Martin O’Malley for the spot as the Democratic Presidential Nominee.

The Iowa Caucuses, which may set the tone for the 2016 presidential election, is in less than a week.
