Aging Simulating Equipment Creates Learning Opportunity at WITC
Simulators for Different Conditions are Available for Students to Try Out
The Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College in Superior is giving students a unique learning experience with aging-simulation equipment.
The equipment includes an aging suit that simulates regular aging, a stroke simulator, and a tremor simulator, as well as goggles that simulate 6 different types of eye conditions.
Students are able to try the equipment out to get a better understanding of what senior citizens and those suffering from other conditions, like Parkinson’s Disease, may feel like.
The WITC Ashland Campus also runs this program.
