Local Businesses Prepare for Superbowl
Food and Liquor Sales Rise
The Superbowl is coming up on Sunday, and local businesses are seeing a rise in sales.
People across the Northland are throwing viewing parties, many of them involving food.
“We sell a lot of chicken wings, a lot of meatballs different varieties, sweetish, bbq, sweet and sour, buffalo, things like that sell, snacks are always a good option,” said Bruce Schneider, the Deli Manager at Mount Royal.
And what’s a party without some frosty beverages? Liquor stores are also seeing a spike in sales
“It’s one of those activities where everyone gathers in their home so lots of friends and family stopping by,” said Nick Casper, the store manager of Keyport Liquor Store.
The Denver Broncos and the Carolina Panthers will be facing off this Sunday in San Francisco.
