Car Flipped on Railroad Tracks Removed

Accident Left Unoccupied Car on Railroad on Sunday

A car accident left a vehicle upside down on the railroad tracks.

Sunday night, a driver lost control of his car and crashed in to an empty vehicle. The unoccupied car then broke through a fence and landed upside down on the rail road tracks next to the lake walk. Today the car was removed off of the tracks.

“We were able to get the crane down to the wreck, pick the wreck up, and with the help of a local motive, actually move it to a spot where a wrecker could come and take it away,” said Ken Buehler, the General Manager of Northshore Scenic Railroad.

Luckily no one was injured in the accident.
