Hartley Nature Center Holds Winter Camp

Both Whole and Half Day Options Available

Kids can still have fun in the cold.

Winter Break Camps are being offered at the Hartley Nature Center.

There are day camps for kids ages 4 to 9, with both half or whole day options.

Campers learn about winters in Minnesota through exploring topics like animal winter survival techniques, and how snowflakes form, to taking part in outdoor adventures.

“They’re able to get outside and stay active and be with some friends, maybe make some new friends that they aren’t in school with every day,” said Brett Amundson, the Director of Operations at the Hartley Nature Center.

The camps run Monday through Friday.
