Gronseth to Stay in Duluth
Duluth Schools Superintendent Bill Gronseth is staying in Duluth.
Gronseth was a finalist for a Superintendent’s position in Snohomish, Washington. The district ended up choosing the other candidate.
He also withdrew himself from consideration for a job in the Rogers, Arkansas school district. He was one of four finalists.
In early 2015, Gronseth was one of two finalists vying for the superintendent’s job in the Prior Lake-Savage area school district.
“My interest in other communities isn’t because I don’t enjoy the work that we do here. I am fortunate to work with an excellent team of teachers, administrators, and support staff. There are, however, new adventures and experiences that I would somehow always wonder about if I didn’t explore the possibilities when they came up,” said Gronseth.
Gronseth has been the superintendent of Duluth schools since 2012.
