Duluth Works Toward Final School Budget
Duluth Public Schools committee making final changes to budget before it's approved.
Monday, Duluth public schools got one step closer to finalizing a budget plan. Removing the zero hour item. This particular item brought up a lot of community conversation.
“It had the effect of reducing the number of class selections that would have been offered there. And it would’ve been limited to some of the music programs specifically,” said Bill Hanson, Executive Director of Business Services.
With that removed, the council is confident they’ll be able to finalize and approve a budget by the end of this month.
