Woman on Scooter Dies in Crash in Duluth

Duluth police are investigating a fatal accident involving a scooter.

It happened around 12:30 Wednesday afternoon on Glenwood Street near Skyline Parkway.

Police believe a 31-year-old woman was heading west on her motorized scooter on Glenwood when she somehow collided with a vehicle traveling east bound.

The woman was pronounced dead on the scene.

The 39-year-old driver of the vehicle was not injured.

The incident remains under investigation.

The victim’s name will be released after family is notified.
