Stuff the Bus School Supply Drive

Douglas Co. is helping children start the school year right

Mayor Bruce Hagen has partnered with head of the Lakes United Way, Superior School District, Cathedral School, and Maple School District, to help children get a good start to the school year.

The annual Stuff the Bus campaign invites the community to join in, in making all of this happen by donating school supplies. The supply drive helps students feel good about a fresh new school year and will aid in completing schoolwork with confidence.

This year’s drive is designed to increase support for Middle and High School students.

Monday August 1 through August 22 is a time for local businesses, service organizations, and churches to college needed school supplies for families who may not be able to afford necessary supplies for their children.

All collected supplies will be delivered to school districts and distributed by staff during registration or before the first day of the school year.

The following is a list of donation drop-off locations:

Arrowhead Printing, National Bank of Commerce Midtown, National Bank of Commerce, Superior Main, School District of Superior Administration Office, Superior Choice Credit Union Shoreline, Mayor’s Office in the Government Center, Harbor House, UWS (Old Main), and Superior Water Light & Power.
