Looking for a way to sharpen your skills to take on zombies?

The University of Wisconsin Superior’s Superior Adventures will teach survival skills with a twist when it hosts Zombie Apocalypse Survival Skills Day on Saturday, November 5, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wisconsin Point.

Recreation specialist at UW-Superior, Nate Field says, “Participants will learn everything from fire and shelter building, what happens when you’re lost, helping with search and rescue, and keeping your group safe together.”

The cost for Zombie Apocalypse Survival Skills Day is $10 for community members and $5 with a valid UW-Superior ID. The cost also includes transportation from UW-Superior to Wisconsin Point, equipment, experienced trip leaders, and survival food.

Activities will be taking place outdoors, so those who will be participating should dress appropriately for the weather.
