Bob Dylan Film Festival at Red Herring Lounge
Bob Dylan fans could celebrate his contributions to film
A Bob Dylan film festival is being held in Duluth all day today.
Dylan fans can celebrate the artist’s contributions to film until about 1:00am at the Red Herring Lounge.
Several films are being shown at the free event including No Direction Home and Don’t Look Back.
“He’s not just a singer, he’s not just a songwriter, he’s not just a poet, he’s not just a movie star but he means a lot more to people because of all the things he’s able to do,” says the film festival curator and presenter Bob Monahan.
The day-long festival features a wide variety of films. Some feature Dylan’s music and others feature him acting on camera.
