Hospice Patients Remembered

Ceremonies Were Held for All Who Died in Essentia Hospice Programs Over the Last Year

DULUTH, Minn. – Patients who died in the Essentia Health hospice program were remembered at a special memorial services in Duluth and Superior.

Family members lit candles in remembrance of their loved ones, and the names of all who passed away in hospice from last July until this June were read out loud for the group of mourners.

“Opportunity to come together as a community to say we still remember them and we care about them and doing it in a public setting that we do it together,” said David Eaton, the Spiritual Health Care Coordinator of St. Mary’s Essentia Health Hospice.

Memorial services were held in Virginia and Grand Rapids last week.
