Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Manslaughter Following Death Of Hockey Player Adam Johnson
ENGLAND — An arrest has been made following the death of hockey player Adam Johnson who died after suffering a serious neck injury from a skate after colliding with another player during a game on October 28. Adam was playing for the Nottingham Panthers.
According to the South Yorkshire Police, the man was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of manslaughter. He is in custody at this time.
Authorities say Adam’s family is being supported through the investigation by officers and that they have asked for privacy during this difficult time.
A statement from Detective Chief Superintendent Becs Horsfall says:
