St. Luke’s Partners with Aspirus Health
DULUTH, Minn. — The new partnership between St. Luke’s and Aspirus was celebrated today.
A ribbon cutting representing the St. Luke’s rebranding happened Tuesday at the Duluth hospital. St. Luke’s, as well as Lake View in Two Harbors, are currently replacing their logos and signs. Although the name will change, administrators say many other things will not.
“I assure you we will continue to deliver the same great care.” said Dr. Nick Van Deelen, Senior Vice President for Aspirus Health. “Together, we believe that when people trust us to care for their health and wellbeing, they are giving us an honor and a privilege.”
With this new partnership, they are looking forward to keeping their mission alive as well, while also updating technology.
“Together, we invest hundreds of millions of dollars into our region and our health system infrastructure.” said Dr. Andrea Benson, Aspirus St. Luke’s Chief of Staff. “This includes our electronic health record. So, I know that I among many, who are very excited to be transitioning to the epic electronic health record.”
Aspirus Health operates 18 hospitals and 130 outpatient locations. They employee over 14,000 people.
