At their 2025 WIAA Annual Meeting on April 25, 2025, members voted 293-108 to allow students to enter into “NIL” or “Name, Image, and Likeness” opportunities.

The approved WIAA Constitutional amendment will limit the NIL for activities, “not associated or identified with their school team, school, conference or the WIAA, and in accordance with other prohibited NIL activities.”
