DULUTH, Minn. — More than 40 high school students in Duluth got a unique opportunity today—to step into the world of medicine.
The University of Minnesota Duluth Medical School hosted a “Mini-Medical School” event, designed to give students a hands-on look at biomedical research and medical careers.
Participants explored a variety of topics, including brain and heart anatomy, learned clinical skills, and practiced how to treat sports injuries and respond to general trauma situations.
Organizers say events like this are meant to inspire the next generation of doctors, nurses, and researchers—right here in Minnesota.
