Acute Care Nurses Approve Agreement with Essentia

Nurses voted on the agreement Wednesday, July 9, 2025.

The agreement includes provisions that will give nurses more scheduling predictability and flexibility.

It also provides a nearly ten percent increase in pay spread over the next three years.

Rhonda Kazik, Chief Nurse executive at Essentia stated “This is a good outcome for our patients, our nurses and the broader Twin Ports community. I’m proud of our bargaining team, who put in countless hours, sometimes working around the clock, to secure a fair contract that is good for our patients, our valued nurse colleagues and for Essentia.”
