Virginia office of Lakeview Behavioral Health set to close
UPDATE: Lakeview Behavioral Health has released a statement following the closure of their Virginia office.
The full statement from COO Zack Kahmeyer:
“After extensive evaluation and careful consideration, we made the difficult decision to close our Virginia location. This choice was rooted in our commitment to providing the highest quality mental health care. Consolidating our services will allow us to better align our clinical resources, enhance the consistency of care, and ensure that our clients receive the most effective support possible. We remain dedicated to the well-being of our community and will work closely with clients and partners to support a smooth transition.”
VIRGINIA, Minn. — The Lakeview Behavioural Health office in Virginia is set to close.
The organization announced Tuesday that they have made the decision to close their Virginia office, effective December 31, 2025.
“We have truly enjoyed our time working in and supporting the Virginia community,” the Lakeview team said in a statement. “This decision was not made lightly.”
Officials say services will still be available through their Hibbing location and telehealth.
No reason was given for the closure.
FOX21 has reached out to Lakeview for comment on why the closure took place and has yet to hear back.
