Essentia and MNA reach tentative agreement for over 100 Virginia nurses
VIRGINIA, Minn, — Essentia Health and the Minnesota Nurses Association (MNA) have reached a tentative agreement on contracts for more than 100 nurses in Virginia.
Friday, Essentia announced the tentative agreement on a three-year contract for the nurses.
“This milestone comes after productive discussions and reflects our deep appreciation for the extraordinary work these nurses do every day,” said Rhonda Kazik, chief nurse executive at Essentia. “This agreement not only honors their vital contributions but also strengthens our shared dedication to protecting and advancing high-quality health care in this community we are privileged to serve. We look forward to continuing our work together to ensure accessible, sustainable care for all on the Iron Range.”
The vote for ratification is expected in the coming days.
The contract will be effective through July 31, 2028
