Mobile mammography truck catches fire
CLOQUET, Minn. – A mobile mammography truck used by Essentia Health caught fire in Cloquet. The fire broke-out on February 3, 2026.
In a statement Essentia Health communications tells FOX 21, “Essentia is working closely with the truck’s vendor to understand what caused the fire and to help prevent something like this from happening again. Keeping our patients, staff and community safe remains our top priority. Our mobile mammography services will continue without interruption.”
The mobile mammography truck is used by Essentia Health but not owned by Essentia.
It caught fire while it was not in service.
No patients or staff were inside at the time and no one was hurt.
