Chester Creek Concert Series Rocks the Park

DULUTH, Minn. — The Chester Creek Concert Series is under way and bands are blasting tunes for everyone to hear.

For the past 40 years the concerts have been rocking the park.

Live music, food trucks and good vibes fill Chester Creek on Tuesdays during the summer, and the evening of June 20 was no different.

The band ‘Listening party’ out of Milwaukee was the showstopper on tonight’s stage.

The concert series is family friendly and free for anyone to enjoy.

Many listeners got up and on their feet to dance to the music.

“It’s great to see so many people out in our park spaces and for us to bring a family friendly concert to our park spaces,” said Megan Lidd, Duluth Parks and Rec, Recreation Specialist. “It’s just a great thing we can do for our community and we love seeing people show up and it’s just great having everyone out here.’

Chester creek has a full lineup of bands until the middle of august and music of many kinds, from folk, rock, country and more.
