Chester Chats Preview: 1900s Fashion

Fashion from the 1900s will soon be undressing at Glensheen Mansion.

The free event is called Chester Chats: Then & Now Fashion.

The TED-Talks type presentation will feature current trends compared to clothing back in the day that are still in the closets at Glensheen.

“It’s been a blast for me to do research and really dive in to, OK, why did they wear this? How often did they change their clothes? And there was a reason for everything,” said Jane Pederson, marketing director at the mansion.

Doors open Thursday at 6:45 p.m.
