KYN: Arrowhead Surgery Center Aids Twin Ports Community

DULUTH, Minn. — They say, if you want something bad enough, you will make it happen.

That was the case for this local spine surgeon. Dr. Jared Broadway had a vision and a dream. And his dream finally became a reality. The Arrowhead Surgery Center opened about a year ago.

“I really have to pinch myself. Because it was a dream five years ago and quite honestly less than five years ago it’s become reality. It is truly a fulfilling adventure that I’ve had a lot of good people around me to help in this regard. There’s a lot of success celebrated every time we’re there,” explained owner and Neurosurgeon Dr. Jared Broadway.

Broadway wanted a space where patients could feel safe, secure, and comfortable while undergoing these procedures. Many of the surgeries performed involve the neck, disc replacements in the cervical spine, as well as lumbar surgeries.

“We’ve had very positive feedback in this regard. But they find this to be a very welcoming and comforting place to have a procedure or surgery done. The aesthetics are quite nice. The flow is really phenomenal,” said Broadway.

The clinic caters to the growing popularity of outpatient surgeries. Broadway saw a need for this, and this was a call to action for him.

“And I felt like owning a surgery center and having it you know focus on spine surgery would really do our patients and community a service,” said Broadway.

Dr. Broadway tells Fox 21 that he is excited to see what the future holds for this specialty clinic.
