One Tall Ship will Remain in Duluth Until Wednesday
The Popular Ship, El Galeon, Was Reported to Have 5 Hour Long Lines
El Galeon is a replica of a 16th century Galleon, and is the only one in the world that sails today.
These ships were used by the Spanish crown for maritime expeditions for centuries. This replica was built in 2009 in Spain, and has sailed across the world.
“Shanghai, Singapore, Sri Lanka, east coast, Caribbean, now the Great Lakes; our goal is to share our maritime history around the world,” said Fernando Viota, Project Manager of El Galeon.
Tickets to get on the ship are $10 for adults and $5 for children.
