Another Storm Causes More Damage in Duluth
Storm Knocks Down Trees and Power Lines...Again
Another round of severe weather hit the Duluth area overnight and it left a path of damage behind.
The storm that came through the Northland just two weeks ago left thousands without power and just as many recovered from that, another storm came through last night and it took out even more trees around the area.
We found some visitors from Wisconsin who couldn’t believe their eyes.
Ben Dreher, a visitor from Wisconsin, said “I thought it was national trim your tree day because everywhere we went there was trees. We just went for a hike and there are trees down all over the woods and across the trails and everything.”
The storm last night was nothing like the one a couple weeks back.
Many folks are describing this latest storm as being more of a nuisance after they just finished cleaning up damage from their last bout with bad weather.
The top wind gust reported overnight at the Duluth airport was 69 miles per hour.
