Essentia Health & MNA reach tentative agreements for clinic nurses in Duluth and Superior
DULUTH, Min. – Essentia Health has announced they have reached a tentative agreement with Minnesota Nurses Association (MNA) nurses at he Essentia Health-Duluth Clinic 1st, 2nd and 3rd street buildings and Essentia Health St. Mary’s Superior Clinic.
The nurses are first contracts covering ambulatory care nurses.
The tentative agreements will last through March 31, 2027.
Upon making the announcement Essentia Health Chief Nurse Executive Rhonda Kazik said, “We are proud to have found common ground on key issues after months of hard work on these agreements… Our approach throughout this series of negotiations has been guided by a commitment to our patients and nurses. These balanced agreements will help ensure high-quality care remains accessible in the communities we are privileged to serve for years to come.”
The MNA will conduct ratification votes which are expected to take place on Thursday, August 28, 2025.
Negotiations at Solvay Hospice House and the Essentia Health Surgery Center-Miller Hill in Duluth are ongoing.
