ST. PAUL, Minn. — Planned Parenthood of the North Central States(PPNCS) has stated that they have no plans to stop abortion care in Minnesota.
In a statement to FOX21, PPNCS said:
“To be clear: Planned Parenthood North Central States has no plans to stop abortion services in states where it is legal.”
This comes after Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin announced that it will pause abortion care next week in the face of federal Medicaid funding cuts.

PPNCS said they are committed to helping Wisconsin residents continue to access the abortion care they need.
“Abortion is essential health care. Planned Parenthood North Central States is committed to providing abortion care to those who need it,” said Ruth Richardson, president and CEO of Planned Parenthood North Central States. “Amidst the manufactured chaos of attacks on bodily autonomy and reproductive freedom, we are seeing more people traveling farther distances for vital sexual and reproductive health care. Your zip code shouldn’t have to determine your access to health care. Our doors are open to patients coming from Wisconsin just as they are open to patients who have been forced to travel for abortion care from across the country.”
