Whole Foods Co-Op Opens Second Location

The ribbon was cut at the new Denfeld Whole Foods Co-Op Tuesday.

And just like its flagship store, officials said they will vow to continue to bring the best healthy options to the city — especially in an area previously considered a food desert.

“it’s going to be a very healthy location physical environment and in terms of what we sell,” said Sharon Murphy, Whole Foods Co-Op general manager.

The new store offers a hot bar, deli counter and will be right along the bike path.

The Denfeld location officially opens Wednesday at 7 a.m.
