Outdoor Fires are a popular part of life in the Northland.

And as temperatures are warm up, and snow melts away and some community members may be itching to get out around a campfire, but early spring between snow melt and green-up is a time that people need to watch out for wild and grass fires.  

Burning Permits are not required for outdoor fireplaces, but must be obtained for bonfires and other outdoor burning.
