Chelsea Clinton Rallies In Duluth For Mother
Gov Mark Dayton Shows Support For Hillary
The former First Daughter addressed her mother’s policies in Duluth Monday, and between the political banter, she shamelessly sought out parenting advice from the audience.
“I think this is the most important election of my lifetime. This is the first presidential campaign I will vote in as a mom,” Clinton said.
One of Chelsea’s main talking points was the great respect she has for her mom.
“I can definitely say she has been an extraordinary role model for me.”
Positive role models are important to Clinton supporter Jen Hollander. She brought her daughter, Grace, to listen to Chelsea’s message.
“What is important to not only me … but how other strong women around the country behave.”Hollander said.
“It was a really great experience to just hear everything.” Grace said.
Strength and hope for future generations propelled the conversation at both rallies — with age not a concern.
Mary Jane Sorensen’s 5-year-old granddaughter is inspired by this campaign.
“My daughter was telling her she could be anything she wanted to when she grows up — even president — and that’s a great reason to vote for Hillary,” Sorensen said.
