North Star Academy Gives Students Another Reason To Love Reading

        North Star Academy students and teachers got a chance to celebrate reading Friday, and dress up as a character from their favorite book. Reading interventionist Colleen Moran dressed up as the Paper Bag Princess and explained the reasoning behind the novel idea.

“All the teachers are dressing up sharing their love for reading, the kids are sharing their excitement so they get to learn about books that their peers really love.” Moran said.

Celebrations continued with a book parade where students could show-off their character costumes.
