Essentia Receives $145,000 Resiliency Grant
Essentia Health St. Mary’s Medical Center has just been awarded a grant that will help ensure our health care providers are taken care of.
It’s a $145,000 resiliency grant through the Minnesota Jobs Skills Partnership to focus on well-being tools.
“Employees are burning out and leaving the field. We need to provide more tools to keep them in their field and practicing in a way that is sustainable,” said Diane Davidson, Essentia Chief Human Resources Officer.
More than 4,000 Essentia employees will have these programs available to them to assist with job stress and burnout.
“We can be the greatest technical experts in industry, in healthcare, but without the foundation of self-care, focus on well-being and insight into resiliency you will not have the workforce you need to deliver on these technical skills,” Davidson continued.
The resiliency and well-being programming will begin in July.
