Duluth Aerial Lift Bridge Has Opening for Operator

The deadline to apply for the Aerial Lift Bridge Operator Position in Duluth is Midnight.

The job of the operator is to insure safe passage of ships, pedestrians and motorists by operating and maintain the bridge and other equipment. The job opening has created quite the buzz, and is even trending on Facebook.

“Once this opening is filled, expected in the next couple years to have one more retirement, and then after that it may be 15 years even before we see another opening on the bridge,” said Dave Campbell the Supervisor at the Aerial Lift Bridge. 

The selection process will include an education and experience review, and an oral exam.
