‘Snow Leopard Chats’ At The Lake Superior Zoo

Zoo-goers were able to get friendly with the elusive Kieran — a snow leopard — Thursday.

It’s all part of the Lake Superior Zoo’s “chat series.”

Snow leopards are a part of the Endangered-Species List.

Experts project there are only 4,000 snow leopards remaining in the wild. 

Kieran is keen on winter and his coat keeps him warm in up to -15 degrees — making him an ideal resident of Duluth.
