St. Lukes Looking for COVID-19 Study Participants
Questions about the study can be directed to RECOVERStudy@slduluth.com
DULUTH, Minn.– St. Lukes has partnered with the CDC and five other research sites for a study that will look into how COVID-19 moves through populations of people.
St. Lukes is welcoming new participants to enroll so it can collect more data for the “Recover” Study. The researched began back in August of 2020 and focuses on people who are considered “high risk” of contracting the virus.
“This is going to gather information, to inform those decisions over time until we come to that new normal,” says Infectious Disease Physician, Dr. Harmony Tyner, “So is this next variant going to be a big thing, we’re not sure but we’re going to collect data and find out and hopefully be in front of that wave and be in front of that kind of world rocking event.”
St. Lukes welcomes anyone who works outside the home for at least 20-hours per week. There are no vaccination requirements, but you must be at least 18-years or older to enroll.
