48–year–old Sheila St. Clair disappeared Sept. 1 and has not been seen or heard from since. Police believe she may have been on her way to white earth but she does not have a car so they think she may have gotten a ride.

Now almost two months later the Duluth police department is offering a reward of 1,000 dollars to anyone who can offer information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for St. Clair’s disappearance.

Family and friends of St. Clair, along with community members gathered Friday morning to announce the reward and make a plea to anyone who may have information about the disappearance.

“We just need anybody with any information to help. Please,” said Dustin St. Clair, Sheila St. Clair’s nephew.

After receiving few tips, the police have decided to offer the reward in hopes it will bring in more information to help the investigation. The police want anyone who may have a lead to call in even if it’s small.

“Any piece of information is important for us to get, even if people think it’s insignificant it might be tied to something we’ve been working on that could point us in the right direction,” Lieutenant Mike Ceynowa said.

The police say her disappearance is extremely suspect and it is currently being pursued as a missing person case.
