The University of Wisconsin-Superior is getting ready to host an anti-bullying summit set for Wednesday.
The summit is designed to bring awareness to the effects of bullying that go beyond grade school classrooms.
Attendees will break off into groups to discuss a wide range of bullying problems including workplace bullying as well as mistreatment of vulnerable adults.
They’ll also discuss what to do when a person witnesses a bullying problem.
“We really hope that people will be less passive about it. That when people witness some kind of bullying going on that they will get engaged,” said Esther Gieschen, with the Center for Continued Education at UWS.
The summit will take place Wednesday, September 30 in the Yellowjacket Union Hall from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m
