‘Uncorked & Untapped’ Fundraiser for Lake Superior Zoo

Beer & Wine Tasting Party Features Brewers & Distributors From Across Northland

Thursday evening, the Duluth community showed its support for the Lake Superior Zoo at the 6th Annual ‘Uncorked and Untapped for Conservation’ fundraiser.

The wine and beer tasting party featured craft brewers and wine distributors from all over the Northland.

Through ticket sales and raffles, the zoo hoped to raise more than $10,000 for fill-in-the-gap funding needs.

“It’s just heartening to be a part of this event and the outpouring that people just want to give, I’m just always blown away by it,” exclaimed Zane Bail, Lake Superior Zoo Board Member.

In just a few weeks, the zoo will host another major – and well-known – fundraiser, ‘Boo at the Zoo.’
