The Minnesota Supreme Court visited Denfeld High School Thursday, giving students a first hand look at how our justice system works.
More than fourteen hundred students attended the event, where the state’s highest court heard oral arguments of an actual case.
Students gathered from seven different high schools in the area.
In the weeks leading up to the visit, local attorneys visited classrooms to help students understand the supreme court oral argument process.
After the arguments, the supreme court justices held a question and answer session with the students.
The Duluth Event marked the 42nd in-school oral arguments for the court
